Occasionally, repairs and general maintenance may be needed in your home. To request a repair, please fill out the form provided, and a member of our maintenance team will get in touch with you to schedule the necessary repairs. We are committed to addressing your maintenance needs promptly to ensure your home remains in good condition.
Your tenancy is governed by a “Statutory Periodic Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement.” On page 1 of your agreement, you’ll find both the start and end dates. However, the end date simply marks the conclusion of the fixed term—usually a six-month period—and does not mean you need to vacate the property. After this period, your tenancy automatically continues on a monthly basis until either you or the landlord gives notice to end it.
Please note that if you intend to leave the property, you are required to give us 28 days’ notice before your last day.
It is also crucial to report any changes that may affect your Housing Benefit as soon as you or your support staff are aware. You can notify us if you are planning to leave the property, if you are moving to another room, or if your Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) has stopped, as this will automatically affect your Housing Benefit. By informing us promptly, we can help address and resolve any issues regarding your tenancy and benefits.
